MUSCAT: The Board of Directors of Oman Aviation Academy (OAA) held its first meeting on Wednesday in the presence of members representing the Omani Authority for Partnership for Development, the Ministry of Defence Pension Fund, Oman National Investment Development Company (TANMIA), Al Hosn Investment Company and Airbus Helicopters and stakeholders at OAA Head Quarters’ in Knowledge Oasis Muscat (KOM). The meeting voted for the election of the chairman and deputy chairman of the board, the formation of the sub-committees and reviewed the proposed organizational structure and the executive plan of the OAA.
The meeting discussed stages and steps of admission and registration of the first batch of trainees and the terms and conditions of admission to be announced in the first quarter of 2018, in addition to a number of topics on the agenda and took appropriate decisions thereon. OAA is the first aviation training institution in the Sultanate and is operated by CAE, one of the world’s leading aviation training companies. — ONA
