OGSC, SSC sign MoU

MUSCAT: Oman Governance and Sustainability Center (OGSC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sustainable Square Company (SSC) as part of its efforts to build partnerships with regional and global institutions in its areas of sustainability.
The MoU was signed by Sayyid Hamed bin Sultan al Busaidy, OGSC Executive Director and by SSC Co-Founder and CEO.
The partnership note aims to identify areas of cooperation in promoting and improving sustainability practices and corporate social responsibility through the establishment of forums and conferences, the review of similar experiences and the joint work of support in the areas of design and implementation of renewable corporate sustainability systems and practices.
The Oman Governance and Sustainability Center, the first of its kind in the Sultanate as a specialized center for spreading the culture and concept of governance and sustainability in all companies and institutions in the Sultanate, has signed several memorandums of understanding and partnerships since its establishment under Royal Decree No 30 of 2015, including Pearl Initiative and Dubai Governance Center and others.
The Center aims at spreading the concept and culture of governance and activating the principles of corporate social responsibility to ensure its role in serving society and achieving the requirements of sustainable development.
