OCCI seminar on investment prospects in food security

SALALAH: Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), represented by the Food Security Committee, in cooperation with OCCI Branch in Governorate of Dhofar, will organise on Wednesday in Salalah a seminar titled ‘Investment Prospects in Food Security: Opportunities and Challenges.’
The opening ceremony will be held under the patronage of Sayyid Mohammed bin Sultan al Busaidy, Minister of State and Governor of Dhofar.
The seminar aims to highlight the importance of food security and the role it plays in societies.
It will also highlight the most important opportunities for investment in this sector and identifying the challenges and problems facing investment in food projects. It aims to study some successful experiences inside and outside the Sultanate and propose some solutions to develop investment in this sector.
The seminar comes to highlight the most important investment opportunities in the field of food security, with emphasis on obstacles,
