OCCI receives Palestinian trade delegation

MUSCAT: Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) received a Palestinian trade delegation comprising 45 companies specialised in different areas. The delegation was received upon their arrival at the OCCI HQs’ in Ruwi by Ayman bin Abdullah al Hassani, OCCI Deputy Chairman.
During the visit, Abdulazim bin Abbas al Bahrani, OCCI Director-General called upon Omani businessmen and those interested in the economic matter to attend such meetings and get benefit from the bilateral meetings with the Palestinian businessmen. On his turn, Al Jawabra, Secretary-General of the Federation of Chambers in Palestine explained that the trade balance between the two countries in 2015 stood at $3.25 million, pointing out that such meetings avail the opportunity for the Palestinian businessmen to explore the investment opportunities in the Sultanate. — ONA
