GUANGZHOU: A delegation of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), who is currently visiting China, Monday visited Canton Fair 2017 in Guangzhou in China, which is dedicated for consumer goods and ceramics. Badr bin Nasser al Hajri, member of OCCI Branch in North Al Sharqiyah Board of Directors and head of the delegation said that the visit aims at providing SMEs with the opportunity to review the latest developments of the Chinese industries and technologies. The visit also aims at exploring opportunities for partnerships and signing import and export agreements.
He pointed out in a statement to ONA that most of the delegation members who visited the exhibition are specialized businessmen operating in sanitary fixtures, furniture, games and home appliances fields. The exhibition will avail them the opportunity them to review the latest products in their fields and import what they believe appropriate for the Omani market. The delegation comprises a number of SMEs’ owners in a bid to help them explore business, economic and investment opportunities and open new horizons for them by reviewing the latest developments in industry, metals, equipment and tool fields. — ONA
