The Facebook page has been also re-branded with a new strategy in terms of the selection of posts, based on the general feedback, without compromising on the Observer’s traditional strength as one of the most trusted news brands in Oman. Our Facebook page is available at www.facebook.com/omanobserver. The general theme centred around the newly-launched logo is the ‘Observer’s Eye for Observing News globally and locally.’ As Oman and its people have changed with time, so is the dissemination of information. News seekers no longer wait for breaking news till the wee hours of the following day. News comes at the touch of a mobile or a tab screen anywhere, anytime. In line with these thoughts, this is only the beginning of the change process for the New Year and more updates are likely to emerge in the coming months.
