OAMC appoints Jetex as first FBO in Oman

Jetex Flight Support is proud to announce its appointment for the operation and management of the first-ever Fixed-base Operators (FBOs) in Oman. Awarded by the Oman Airports Management Company (OAMC), the agreement will see Jetex develop two new FBOs at Muscat International Airport (MCT/OOMS) and Salalah International Airport (SLL/OOSA) respectively. The official signing took place at the Jetex FBO Terminal on the opening day of Dubai Airshow 2017, between Jetex CEO & President, Adel Mardini and Shaikh Aimen al Hosni, CEO of Oman Airports.


Jetex is renowned for delivering end-to-end trip support solutions to customers worldwide, including FBOs, ground handling, trip planning, fuel and bespoke concierge services. The appointment of Jetex as the first and only provider of FBO services in Oman is testament to its exceptional track record in the business aviation industry, and further strengthens its reputation as a pioneer in its field.


Oman Airports CEO Shaikh Aimen al Hosni said, “Jetex was chosen based on strict criteria with regard to quality and commitment to hospitality and reception that we are aiming to provide at our new airports in Salalah and Muscat. The Company provided the best presentation and has qualified to win the contract for the coming 10 years. We hope that this step will boost the level of VIP services at the new Muscat International Airport and at Salalah International Airport, which in turn will take us closer to our strategic goal in 2020 to become among the top 20 airports in the world.”
