OAD-Oman LNG deal to help the disabled

MUSCAT: The Oman Association for Disabled (OAD) and Oman LNG Development Foundation on Thursday signed an agreement to finance the purchase of prosthetic devices worth RO 150,000 for the OAD.


The agreement was signed by Yahya bin Abdullah al Ameri, OAD Chairman, and Hilal bin Ali al Senani, Deputy CEO of Oman LNG Development Foundation.


The signing ceremony was attended by Shaikh Mohammed bin Said al Kalbani, Minister of Social Development, and officials of the OAD and Oman LNG.


Al Ameri said the agreement covers 227 cases of people with disabilities. The agreement includes 227 prosthetic devices including chairs, medical beds and electric chairs. He thanked Oman LNG for this support. — ONA
