Besides showcasing the skills and talents of students, it was held to “strengthen the sense of belonging to the country and to His Majesty” through songs.

The festival offered the disabled students an opportunity to participate in educational and cultural activities. It was also an attempt to revive Omani traditional music.

A total of 108 students from 20 schools participated in the event. The festival included eight music tracks, including international music and traditional Omani songs.

The minister went around an accompanying art exhibition, which included different handicrafts from Al Dakhiliyah’s fine arts students and teachers.

The minister also honoured organisers of the festival as well as students.
