New services for exporters

MUSCAT: The Export Credit Guarantee Agency of Oman (ECGA) will on Sunday celebrate its 25 anniversary of provision of export services and promotion of Omani products. During the ceremony, the new identity of the Agency and a new set of services will be launched to cope with the global economic changes that will support Omani manufacturers and producers, as well as encouraging owners of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to enter international markets. The ceremony will be held at the Grand Millennium Hotel Muscat under the auspices of Shaikh Saad bin Mohammed al Saadi, Minister of Sports Affairs. It will be attended by representatives of government agencies, companies, manufacturers, Omani producers and policyholders. Works reported for local exports for the year 2016 amounted to RO 28,537,000 a rise of 27.6 per cent compared to RO 22,369,000 in 2015. — ONA
