MUSCAT: The number of commercial registrations recorded during the fourth quarter of 2017 reached 5,954, represented in individual traders, vendors, home businesses, solidarity companies, limited liability companies, commercial representation offices, investment companies, Omani joint and stock companies. The Ministry of Commerce and Industry, represented by the Statistics Department, showed that these registries represented in 3,694 as individual traders, 35 as street vendors, 388 home businesses, 251 solidarity companies, 259 limited partnership companies, 1,092 records for limited liability companies, one for commercial representation offices, 227 investment companies, 5 registries for international companies and 2 registrations for Omani joint stock companies. — ONA
