Nama Group’s sustainability exhibition till Jan 18

MUSCAT: Nama Group will organise Nama Sustainability Exhibition at Muscat Grand Mall from January 16 to 18 in a bid to support the youth, highlight their projects and develop their capabilities and potentials in the sustainability areas.


The Group targets to display projects and achievements of the sustainability programmes, plus maintain the sustainability culture and contribute small enterprises that implement Nama programmes and initiatives, based on its sustainability pillars (social, economic and environmental).


The launch of the exhibition will be held under the auspices of Omar bin Khalfan al Wahaibi, CEO of Nama Group, in the presence of concerned officials in the public and private sectors, as well as CEOs and Executive Managers of the Group along with media representatives and those who are interested in the sustainability fields.


These projects will focus on promoting awareness of essential


practices in electricity health and safety such as “Baiti Amin” project, and the National Electricity Conservation Campaign Tadoom, in addition to ICV programme to rehabilitate electrical technicians in the electricity sector. The projects will strengthen the Group’s strategic direction to create added value and contribution to the sustainable development in Oman.


Since the launch of the Group’s Sustainability Policy in 2014, Nama Group has made significant progress in its sustainability strategy, continuing to support positively to social, economic and environmental aspects in the Sultanate. As a result of this commitment, the Group plays a leading role in providing an impact among the society to ensure achieving overall prosperity in the national development. — ONA
