Muscat – Mwasalat has announced changes in bus timings on all Muscat routes and special ticket prices for most of the long-distance routes, including to Dubai during Ramadan.
For Muscat city routes, services will begin from 6:15am and continue till 12am. Frequencies in the morning will be every 30 minutes and from 5pm to 12am it will be 15 to 20 minutes.
There will be changes to the working hours at Azaiba - 8am to 3pm in the evening and from 7:30pm to 1:30 pm throughout the holy month.
Working hours in the offices at various governorates will be unchanged.
In order to encourage everyone, especially citizens, to use public transport and facilitate transportation during, Mawasalat will offer a discount on ticket prices on long-distance routes up to 20 per cent.
There will be changes in bus times to various governorates and Dubai, except on the (Muscat-Salalah) route where the starting time has been moved from 7pm to be at 8pm.
