After last year’s grand success with over two thousand guests in attendance, Festival of Colours organised by Omantel will be invading Al Mouj Golf Club GCM Lawn again on Friday, March 2, 2018. With the hype building up over the last few weeks, this year’s celebration is expected to draw an even larger crown with the celebration grander and bigger than last year making it one of the must-g- to events in the first quarter of the year.

The event will have different activities for all age groups and the highlight of this year’s celebration are performances coming from 10-15 artists performing live music and dancing. Kids will have their dedicated fun zones and food court will also be made available for the guests.

Dr Nithin RS, CEO of Axis Group, the head organiser of the event, said, Almouj Golf Lawns is the perfect spot to hold the event as its location and space is very ideal for what they would like to achieve.

He shared that same as last year they are looking forward to an even more colourful and happy guests. Activities include fire dances, rain dances, parkour shows, thandai, and water gun fun.

Ticket price cost OR 10 for under 21, 15 for Singles and 25 for couples while children below 10 years old enter for free. The tickets come with 2 packs of organic colours and a snack box till the stock lasts.

Khezia Resma and five other friends are going to the event sharing that it is definitely a concept she’d like being executed in the Middle East.

“Coming from Manila, this gathering reminds me of the colourful fun run we use to do there. But minus the run, this is proving to be even more fun with all the music and different activities,” she said.

“My friends outside of the Middle East has this wrong perception about the types of activities you can do here. Many of them thinks that celebrations are very muted so I’m going not only to witness the multi-cultural dynamics of the activity but also to help open up my friends’ mind and let them know that there is more to the Middle East especially Oman than what they can imagine,” she added.

“And I’m sure it will be full of different fun stuff to do. I’ve seen pictures of last year’s celebration and it looks lit,” she said.

More details can be found at the event’s Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/events/1744425102255602 and tickets can be found online via Virgin Megastore or can be bought in all VOX Cinemas and Muscat Grand Mall in Muscat.
