Muscat Football Academy felicitates top players of the season

Muscat, May 16 - In a glittering event on Tuesday, Muscat Football Academy (MFA), owned by Al Jarwani Group, felicitated the top players of the Academy at the final season awards ceremony at the Kempinski Hotel. The event was held under the auspices of HH Sayyid Mohammed bin Salim al Said in the presence of Shaikh Mahmood al Jarwani, chairman of Al Jarwani Group, Pim Verbeek Oman national football team head coach and media representatives. “We very proud of our players in the Academy for their top technical performance through out the year. Yaqoob al Sawafi has been selected for Oman national U-16 team and Suhaib al Kharousi got a professional training opportunity at the Verrona club in Italy.


“Great thanks to our coaching staff who supported in this great season. I would like to share thanks to all parents who support the academy and our future stars,” Chuck Martini added. “I appreciate our Oman national coach Pim Verbeek for coming here at the final awards ceremony was a great opportunity for all of us in the Academy. The future stars of the Academy got comfortable by talking and chatting directly with the coach for the best ways to be part of the national teams,” Martini concluded.


Al Jarwani Group are planning in coordination with Tanfeedh Programme to organise Oman Youth International Cup next November in Muscat. Many international academies will take part in this championship namely Inter Milan, Borussia Dortmund, Manchester City and some other academies to confirm their participation later. All the details of championship will be unveiled soon. Muscat Football Academy (MFA) team completed their successful season by participating in the Manchester City Cup and GCC Cup for academies tournament which was held in Abu Dhabi. MFA has clinched the under-12 league title of the Manchester City Cup. Also, MFA teams, U-11, U-13 and U-15 teams, were crowned champions in their respective competition
