MUSCAT: Muscat Securities Market (MSM) general index (30) on Thursday added (8.4) points, comprising a rise by (0.15 per cent) to close at (5,736.51) points, compared to the last session, which stood at (5,728.10) points.
The trading value on Thursday stood at (RO 4,081,042), comprising a rise by (52.2 per cent) compared to the last session, which stood at (RO 2,681,697).
The report released by MSM pointed out that the market value fell by (0.819 per cent) to reach about (RO 17.21) billion.
The report added that the value of shares bought by non-Omani investors reached (RO 552,000) comprising (13.54 per cent).
The value of shares sold by non-Omani investors reached (RO 1,423,000) comprising (34.87 per cent). The net non-Omani investment declined by (21.34 per cent) to (RO 871,000). — ONA
