MUSCAT: Muscat Securities Market (MSM) general index (30) on Thursday lost 18.26 points, comprising a decline by 0.39 per cent to close at 4,722.46 points, compared to the last session, which stood at 4,740.72 points.
The trading value on Thursday stood at RO 1,335,866, comprising a rise by 5.3 per cent compared to the last session, which stood at RO 1,268,387. The report released by MSM pointed out that the market value fell by 0.125 per cent to reach about RO 17.76) billion.
The report added that the value of shares bought by non-Omani investors reached RO 138,000, comprising 10.36 per cent. The value of shares sold by non-Omani investors reached RO 388,000, comprising 29.01 per cent. The net non-Omani investment dropped by 18.65 per cent to RO 249,000.
