MUSCAT: The Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources (MRMWR) signed at the ministry headquarters on Wednesday an e-Collecting Agreement with Bank Muscat Meethaq Islamic banking. Ahmed bin Abdullah al Shuhi, Minister of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources, and Sulaiman bin Hamad al Harthy, Deputy CEO of Meethaq Islamic banking signed the agreement. Minister of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources said in a press statement after the signing ceremony that the agreement is in line with the application of e-government approach to improve government performance, as well as the advanced stages made by the ministry in the e-transformation project to provide quality services, efficiency and speed, adding that the ministry is one of the first ministries in the implementation of this system which will make a significant advancement to make it easier for beneficiaries. — ONA
