MUSCAT: The Ministry of Transport and Communications on Saturday signed an agreement with Oman Post for door-to-door delivery service. The agreement was signed by Mubarak bin Obaid al Tamtami, Director-General of Administrative and Financial Affairs and Ahmed bin Said al Shukaili, Dirctor-General of Logistic Support at Oman Post. The agreement comes within the framework of the ministry’s endeavours to improve its communication system with the public and private establishments. Earlier, the ministry conducted a study and signed an agreement with Oman Post for a trail period for post delivery services to and from all the governorates with a view to streamlining the procedures and reducing delivery time.
