MoI launches Injaaz.om to offer its services online

MUSCAT: The Ministry of Information on Monday launched “Injaaz” platform (www.injaaz.om), for its e-service. The platform was launched with the aim of achieving the vision of the Ministry of Information in the field of digital transformation, coinciding with opening of the COMEX 2018. The platform will provide a range of services for individuals and institutions through simplified working procedures to access information needed by the beneficiary in a convenient manner.


Nasser bin Humaid al Kheyari, Director-General of E-Media, Supervisor of the Digital Transformation in the ministry, said in a press statement that more than 170 services, which the ministry provides for individuals and institutions in government and private sectors in the field of media activities, issuing licences for publications and classifications are available now through the platform. He added that the Ministry of Information provides its services, in coordination with the Royal Oman Police (ROP) and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, as well as providing services related to the electronic attestation provided by the Information Technology Authority (ITA). The platform also allows the ministry’s employees to access their e-office and completing their work in wherever and whenever Internet service is available. — ONA
