Military Hajj Mission heads to Mecca

Muscat: As part of the Royal care accorded by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces to the personnel of the Sultan's Armed Forces (SAF) and other military and security apparatuses, the 1439 AH Military Hajj Mission left the country today onboard of the Royal Air Force of Oman's Transport planes, heading to Mecca to perform the Hajj rituals.


The mission was seen off at A'Seeb Air Base by Rear Admiral Abdullah bin Khamis al-Raisi, Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman


(RNO), a number of senior officers AT SAF, the Royal Guard of Oman, the Royal Oman Police and Royal Court Affairs and other military and security apparatuses.


The Military Hajj Mission is sent annually upon the Royal orders and directives of His Majesty the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces to the personnel of SAF and other military and security apparatuses whether are on the job or retirees.


The SAF Moral Guidance prepares and organizes the Military Hajj Mission and taking all necessary measures related to the mission in coordination with the Embassy of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Sultanate and the Omani Hajj Mission of the Ministry of Endowment and Religious Affairs, in order to strengthen communication and coordination between the two parties to facilitate the mission's procedures according to the conditions and regulations in this regard.


The military mission is accompanied by an integrated administrative team with all specializations, to provide the best services to the mission members to enable them perform the rituals in the best manner, according to the plans set in advance and in order to achieve the goals of this blessed journey. --ONA
