SALALAH: Ahmed bin Nasser al Mehrzi, Minister of Tourism and Chairman of the Free Zone Authority in Salalah, paid a visit on Wednesday to the Free Zone in Salalah to follow up the progress of work in the development of infrastructure and investor facilities. The tour included the visit of the main building and follow-up of the facilities’ trial operation, in addition to the facilities provided by the main building for investments in the region.
The Minister sponsored the delivery of the first group of investment offices in the new administrative building of Flex Pharmaceutical Industries, which was signed with the sisterly State of Qatar in the usufruct agreement earlier this month. Dr Waseem Hamad, CEO of Flex Pharmaceutical Industries, said: “The interest and care enjoyed by investors in the Salalah Free Zone is one of the comparative advantages of Salalah Free Zone with other regions. We are impressed by the quick response and cooperation of the executive team of Salalah free Zone.” — ONA
