musical instruments that cater to different taste and style — Tunes has been a focal point for musicians in the Sultanate with branches located in prime locations such as Al Khuwair and Qurum.

In a brief interview, Thanae Pachiyannakis, assistant general manager of Tunes, explained that they’ve always identified Ruwi as a special location, one that would benefit from a store that can offer them a wide selection of musical instruments of which Tunes was a specialist. She said that Oman has been home to many musicians. Ruwi in particular is catering to a large student community  and the Rex Road area has a good foot traffic allowing anyone easy access to their products.

“They can find almost everything here — we have brass, percussion, stringed and woodwind instruments, and they are of best quality. We want   to bring our products closer to the people. We have four centres now — the Tunes and Guitar Centre in Al Khuwair, the Music Souq in Qurum and most recent, this shop in Ruwi,” she said. “Tonight is a celebration of another milestone,” she added.
