Liquor storage sites busted in North Batinah

May 8 – The Directorate General of Customs, in cooperation with the police command of Northern Batinah and the Public Prosecution, raided three sites used for storage of liquor. Around 11,600 bottles were seized during the operations.
The customs officials also seized large quantities of banned cigarettes that were hidden in the compartment of the vehicle in an airtight manner for smuggling purposes.
