MUSCAT: The Kuwaiti Contemporary Art Exhibition opens today at the Omani Society of Fine Arts in cooperation with the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters in Kuwait under the patronage of Sayyid Kamil bin Fahd bin Mahmoud al Said. The exhibition comes within the framework of mutual cooperation between the Omani Society of Fine Arts and the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters in Kuwait. It will host a number of artists and continue until December 26. Meanwhile, the documentary exhibition accompanying the 6th International Conference on the relations between Oman and the Indian Ocean and the Gulf States closed amid popular response. It was attended by researchers and interested persons in historical aspects, as well as students of universities and colleges. The exhibition was held from December 11 to 16 at the Shaikh Jaber al Ahmad Cultural Centre in Kuwait. — ONA
