MUSCAT: The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) branch in the Governorate of North Al Sharqiyah will hold meeting with a Kuwaiti delegation to highlight the available investment opportunities in the Sultanate in a number of economic sectors at its headquarters in the Wilayat of Ibra on Sunday. The Kuwaiti delegation includes 10 businessmen representing tourism, real estate and industrial sectors. Ali bin Salim al Hajri, member of the Board of Directors of OCCI, Head of the OCCI Branch in the Governorate of North Al Sharqiyah, said that a work programme was prepared for the Kuwaiti delegation including an economic seminar on investment opportunities, where a number of working papers will be submitted by the Ministry of Tourism and the Public Authority for Investment Promotion and Export Development “Ithraa” and Muscat National Development and Investment Company “ASAAS”. He said the programme also includes field visits to some tourism, industrial and real estate projects in the wilayats of Bidiya, Ibra and Al Mudhaibi in the governorate. — ONA
