Muscat: As part of its core mission of connecting the communities with knowledge, the Sultanate’s leading knowledge-sharing platform, Knowledge Oman, has successfully hosted its 3rd seminar focused on business funding opportunities and methods. A huge number of participants from the private, public and academia sectors were present at the event held at Public Authority for Civil Aviation Training Center Hall. With a key theme titled as “Fund your Business”, approaches to SME and Entrepreneurship financing have been shared and presented by the organisations that provide funds in the Sultanate. A panel discussion comprising elite entrepreneurs that received the funds featured examples of the challenges and lessons learned during the setting up of the business.

“Our goal at Knowledge Oman is to ensure that the entrepreneurs are aware of the funding opportunities. We were pleased to bring the various funding institutions and entrepreneurs under one roof for strengthening the SME sector in the Sultanate” said Khalfan al Mahrazy.
