Are you aware that you are a ‘Power House’ and in control of that Power!

What if I told you that you could control your destiny? Your emotions, youth, weight, beauty, health and energy?

We are born with this power. Each power-centre is situated along our spinal column. They are connected to different glands and organs in the body and are responsible for uniform distribution of life energy through them.

When there is a disruption in this life energy or a blockage in any one or more of the power-centres, the individual may suffer from health or mental issues. Thus, the power-centres form the energy ecosystem of every individual. A deficiency in this ecosystem can wreak havoc in the different areas of life.

Let us go through each power centre:

The Root [Energy] — Situated at the base of the spine, it impacts our vitality, passion and survival instincts. It is associated with the colour red, and is indicative of our need for logic, order, physical strength and sexuality as well as the fight or flight response when faced with danger.

The sense of Smell is connected to the Root. The gland to which the root chakra is attached is the Gonads.

Sacral [Digestion & Reproduction] — The triangular shaped bone situated at the base of the back. This is one of the most important power-centres [in my opinion, it is the most important, particularly pertaining to energy blockages and imbalances in one or more power-centres].

Associated with the colour orange, it impacts reproduction function and sexuality; our creativity, compassion, desire, and joy. It is associated with the sense of Taste. The glands and organs impacted by this power-centre include the female reproductive organs, pelvis, large intestine [colon], bladder, and lymphatic system.

Solar Plexus [Personal & Professional Success & Emotions] — When balanced, it is your personal power, confidence, cheerful energy, respect for self and others. Associated with the colour yellow, sense of Sight, and associated with the Adrenal Glands.

Heart [Love, Trust & Relationships] – Green & Pink are the associated colours, and the sense of touch. This power-centre influences our relationships; when weak, it is responsible for anger, envy, and distrust. The connected glands are Thymus [situated between the lungs & active till puberty, but its effect is felt a life-time], and lymph.

Throat [Communicate & Listen] – Blue is the associated colour. When balanced, the individual is artistic, has a pleasant voice, the ability to communicate and listen. The connected glands are esophagus, ears, throat, thyroid, jaws, teeth and neck vertebrae.

The Brow [Telepathy & Charisma] –This power-centre is associated with the colour Indigo, a charismatic and brave personality, who has strong telepathic abilities, and the sense of Thought. It is connected to the Pineal gland [pea sized gland, situated deep in the brain].

The Crown [Heightened awareness that transcends the laws of nature] – Connected with the colours violet or purple, and extraordinary powers and awareness of life and death, that transcends the laws of nature. It is associated with the Pituitary gland [pea size gland situated deep in the brain], the nervous system, brain and head. Its element is Light.

Once you are aware of the Power-centres and their colors, you can consider the methods of awakening and strengthening them in order to balance all areas of life. Doing so can help you stay mentally and physically fit, and also improve your financial/professional lives.
