MUSCAT: The Ministry of Health on Monday celebrated the inauguration of an extension to Khoula Hospital under the auspices of Dr Ahmed bin Mohammed al Saeedi, Minister of Health. Built on an area exceeding 11,000 sq metres, the new building consists of outpatient clinics, rehabilitation, and day care surgery, with a total cost RO 8 million donated by Suhail Bahwan Group. These sections are new additions to the healthcare services delivered by the ministry in general and by Khoula Hospital in particular. Moreover, they confirm the principle of social responsibility among private sector institutions in supporting the multi-governmental projects. It is worth noting that the outpatient clinics have already started receiving patients a month ago, while the rehabilitation and day care surgery sections started functioning today.  — ONA
