Judicial delegation visits Turkey

ISTANBUL: A high rank judicial delegation continues its current official visit to Turkey. The delegation is led by Shaikh Dr Is’haq bin Ahmed al Busaidi, Chairman of the Supreme Court, Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Judiciary Council and Head of the Judicial Administrative Affairs Council. The visit, which lasts till September 29, comes as per invitation from the Chairman of the Turkey’s Supreme Court. It also comes in line with the council’s strategy to support ties of cooperation among the judicial apparatus with the sisterly and friendly countries.


The visit includes several intensive meetings with senior judges and leaders of justice in Turkey. The meetings discussed various means that would promote the judicial bodies and support their actions, as well as visiting a number of courts and supportive bodies to familiarize themselves with modern technologies used in the judicial work.


The delegation comprises Hussain bin Ali al Hilali, Chairman of the Public Persecution, and Sheikh Khalid bin Rashid al Manwari, Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court, Secretary General of the Judicial Council, Sayyid Khalifa bin Said al Busaidi, Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court, Judge Mansoor bin Ali al Farsi, Judge at of the Supreme Court, Dr Thani bin Salim al Amri, Judge in the court of Appeal, and a number of officials in the council. — ONA
