Job opportunities galore for Omanis in hospitality sector

MuscatMarriott International hosted a recruitment fair at Al Bustan Palace, a Ritz Carlton Hotel, in the presence of Maitha bint Saif Al Mahrouqi, Undersecretary for the Ministry of Tourism. More than 500 Omani men and women were welcomed by representatives from the Ministry of Manpower and the General Managers from all local Marriott properties and discovered the myriad career opportunities available in Oman’s burgeoning hospitality industry.

The fair was organized to recruit for 200 available job positions ranging from line employees to senior management at one of Marriott International’s four properties in Oman including the soon to re-open Al Bustan Palace, a Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Sheraton Oman Hotel and the upcoming W Muscat and JW Marriott Muscat. A leading global lodging company, Marriott International employs more than 400,000 associates at more than 6,500 properties across 30 renowned hotel brands in 127 countries and territories around the globe.

Following a period of extensive enhancements, October will be a month of soft operations with a limited room inventory, access to select food and beverage outlets and recreation facilities. All inventory, facilities and services will be fully available by November 1, 2018.
