The Oman Football Association (OFA) announced that Jasim al Shukeili, Second Vice-Chairman of the OFA Board of Directors, will be appointed in-charge of Oman’s national football teams. His role will extend to chairing the National Teams Committee, administering and governing the operations of all national teams. The first priority that lies before him is that of identifying and subsequently appointing support staff for the national team coach Pim Veerbek after his appointment. According to an OFA statement, the assignment comes as part of OFA board members keenness to support the national team during its preparations for the upcoming competitions.
