MUSCAT: Malika Sood, a grade 10 student of Indian School Muscat, has bagged first prize in the International Hindi Elocution Contest 2017. She was honoured by Indra Mani Pandey, Ambassador of India to the Sultanate of Oman. Officiating Principal Deep Wilson congratulated her and said that her eloquent speaking skills have brought laurels to the school. This contest was organised by the World Hindi Secretariat, which is a bilateral organisation of the Governments of Mauritius and India. The Secretariat had organised this contest on the occasion of World Hindi Day 2017.
