MUSCAT: The Board of Directors of the Institute of Public Administration (IPA) held its third meeting of the year under the chairmanship of Shaikh Khalid bin Omar al Marhoon, Minister of Civil Service, and Chairman of IPA Board of Directors. The meeting reviewed the agenda of the meeting and the report on the follow-up to the implementation of the decisions of the second meeting of 2018 and the other topics on the agenda, including the report prepared by the Institute on the efforts to implement the 20/20 strategy currently being implemented by the Institute and the stages achieved to implement the initiatives and projects approved for 2018.
The Board also reviewed the stages that have been achieved in IPA (20/20) strategy initiatives, which include 28 development initiatives and projects covering the organisation, scientific, technical and human requirements of developing the work of the Institute. Shaikh al Marhoon and members of IPA Board of Directors met with the Executive Management and members of the scientific board and project managers at the Institute. During the meeting, the projects of the Institute were reviewed and discussed with specialists to identify the results achieved during the past period, as well as to identify the difficulties that may hinder the work of some organisational divisions of the Institute and propose appropriate solutions in this regard. — ONA
