Insured workers rise to 224,966

MUSCAT: The number of active establishments covered by the social insurance system increased to 16,726 due to the growth in youth tendency to opt for private projects, according to the latest statistics issued by the Public Authority for Social Insurance at the end of February. This was reflected in the increase in the number of active insured workers in the private sector in the Sultanate, which reached 224,966.
