MUSCAT: The Sultanate represented by the Ministry of Information takes part in the international conference titled ‘ The Role of Media in Bridging the Gender Gap’ , to be organised in Amman on December 4, 5 by the Woman Studies Center at the University of Jordan. The Arab media women who will take part in the conference will discuss a number of issues, such as economic empowerment of women in media, the reality, challenges and the role of media organization enhancing economic empowerment of women in media work, the role of media women in addressing the stereotypes of woman in media, the role of media in reproduction of the social general concept and the role of media in addressing the woman stereotypes in Arabic drama. — ONA
