MUSCAT: Indian School Darsait organised Graduation Day for their outgoing batch of Grade XII at a solemn function.

Dr Sridevi P Thashnath, Principal, exhorted the students to take up the challenges bravely and sensibly. She advised them to make a judicious use of social media with its unprecedented spell over them and to get inspired by the lives of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, Mahatma Gandhi, Tata and Birla. She exhorted them to practice lessons of humility so that they may treat their parents with love and care and be ‘happiness ambassadors’.

Ajayan Poyyara, President, School Management Committee (SMC), spoke about the preparedness that they should have to face new challenges in the present world scenario. He asked them to keep their identity as Indians wherever they would go for their higher studies and job pursuits. He urged them to keep the ISD flag high by devoting quality time and resource for further development of the school including its flourishing Alumni Association. Biju Samuel, Vice-President SMC, called upon the students to chase ability and values to achieve what they would keenly wish for.
