MUSCAT: Dr Rasheed bin al Safi al Huraibi, Chairman of the Tender Board, formally inaugurated The 2017 Home and Building Show at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre here on October 23, 2017, paving the way for three days of business networking, B2B transactions, and bargain deals encompassing products, equipment and services that are an integral part of the ideal home.
Previously known as The Home Show, the rejigged Home and Building Show includes an array of product and service streams associated with the building construction sector. Both home and building components perfectly complement each other, thereby promising business and retail customers alike a comprehensive and wholesome visitor experience.
The rebranded Home and Building Show has been organised by well-established Omani event management firm Global Exhibitions and Conferences LLC (GEC), with
the support of the Ministry of Housing.
Co-located for the first time is a Kitchen and Bath Expo, designed to enhance the overall appeal of the trade expo to all manner of visitors.
This integration of home, building, kitchen and bath components — showcased under one roof amid the splendid settings of the Convention Centre’s Hall No 5 — adds to the overall appeal of GEC’s signature trade fair.
