MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Qaboos received a written message from Antonio Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations (UN). The message was received on behalf of His Majesty the Sultan by HH Sayyid Asaad bin Tareq al Said when he received in his office on Sunday Prince Zeid Raad, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, who is currently visiting the Sultanate. The meeting was attended by Dr Yahya bin Mahfoudh al Mantheri, Chairman of the State Council, Abdullah bin Nassir al Rahbi, Sultanate’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations (UN), Said bin Mohammed al Abri, Secretary-General at the Office of His Majesty the Sultan’s Representative, Khalifa bin Hamad al Badi, Adviser in the Office of His Majesty the Sultan’s Representative, Saif bin Ahmed al Sawafi, Adviser in the Office of His Majesty the Sultan’s Representative and Plenipotentiary Minister Yousef bin Abdullah al Afifi, Deputy Chairman of the Omani Human Rights Commission (OHRC). — ONA
