HM receives message from Jordanian king

MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Qaboos received a written message from King Abdullah II Ibn al Hussein of Jordan inviting His Majesty to attend the 28th ordinary Arab Summit, due to be held in Jordan.
The message was received by His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmood al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, when he received on Thursday Nasser Judeh, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs of Jordan, Envoy of the Jordanian King, who conveyed during the meeting, greetings and best wishes of King Abdullah II to His Majesty the Sultan and the Omani people further progress and prosperity.
Conversation during the meeting dealt with existing cooperation between the two brotherly countries in several areas. It also reviewed a number of issues and developments at the regional and international arenas, as well as matters of common concern.
HH Fahd asked the guest to convey greetings and best wishes of His Majesty the Sultan to the King of Jordan and the Jordanian brotherly people further progress and prosperity.
The meeting was attended by Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdallah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, and Zuhair Abdullah al Nsour, Jordanian Ambassador to the Sultanate. — ONA
