NEW YORK: Canada’s Brooke Henderson birdied the final hole to give herself, Keegan Bradley and co-host Billy Andrade a one-stroke victory on Monday at the 19th annual CVS Health Charity Classic.

A day after winning her fourth career LPGA title, and first in almost a year, at the Meijer Classic, Henderson picked up another win in the three-tour unofficial event at par-71 Rhode Island Country Club in Barrington.

The one-day event unites one player each from the US PGA, LPGA and 50-and-over PGA Champions Tour on each of six teams with the two low scores on each hole counting for the trio.

Henderson and Americans Bradley and Andrade were deadlocked with Americans Jon Curran, Paula Creamer and Mark O’Meara at 13-under par as both groups reached the tee at the par-4 18th hole.

O’Meara’s birdie gave his group the lead but Bradley, who missed the cut at last week’s US Open, birdied to level the score at 14-under and Henderson followed with the winning birdie to give her trio the title, the first for Rhode Island native Andrade in his 19 years as co-host with Brad Faxon.

Americans Tony Finau and Gerina Piller joined with Germany’s Bernhard Langer, a 59-year-old two-time Masters winner, to stand third on 12-under, one stroke ahead of the US trio of Bill and Jay Haas and Morgan Pressel plus the US tandem of Billy Horschel and Lexi Thompson and Scotland’s Colin Montgomerie.
