HEAC e-System on admissions to close on July 24

Muscat, July 19 - A total of 24,766 students have so far amended their choice for study programmes in higher educational institutions across the Sultanate. The number of new students who have registered at this stage is 110.


The Higher Education Admission Centre (HEAC) recently announced the date for amending their choice on its e-System for the academic year 2017-18 will close on July 24 at 2 pm.


Nada bint Mohammed al Kiyoumiyah, Assistant Director of HEAC, said students can amend their desires and add new options of the study programmes.


The centre has urged all registered students to verify the accuracy of their personal data and view the announcement of updates of courses on its website, www.heac.gov.om


It has urged students to upload the required documents no later than July 23.


HEAC seeks to reach the largest segment of students via awareness messages and social media, local newspapers, radio and TV and other media channels.
