MUSCAT: Haya Water organised Qaranqasho event at Al Khamis Plaza. Many Haya employees and their families attended this event as well as citizens, residents and their children.
The event included recreational and educational competitions about Haya Water’s role in implementing the wastewater project and its positive role in preserving the environment and reducing pollution. The event, which was held during Ramadhan night, brought joy and happiness to children and their parents and drew big smiles on their faces.
The event included interesting activities such as questions and information about Haya Water, magic games, competitions and drawing lots.
The children enthusiastically interacted with the activities. During the ceremony, sweets and gifts were distributed to children.
Hanan bint Yousuf al Balushi, Corporate Communications Manager in Haya Water, said the company pays great attention to its employees and their families. This event was specifically organised for the employees’ children who are considered an integral part of Haya Water family.
Haya Water aims, through organising this event, to spread joy and happiness among children. In addition, the event which coincides with mid of Ramadhan night, is considered part of the heritage and customs that must be preserved and revived each year.
Hanan added: “We are very delighted to see Haya families and other families, as well, interacting with the different activities of the event in a warm family atmosphere”.
It is worth mentioning that the cartoon character ‘Mudrek’ was present at Al Khamis Plaza and children enthusiastically interacted. The coloring and drawing activity of models that represent Haya’s products was also present during the celebration and all participants were happy and enjoyed their time.
