MUSCAT: The Ministry of Health represented by the National Genetic Centre (NGC) celebrated today the graduation of the first batch of the Integrated Genetic Counselling Academic Programme. The graduation ceremony was held under the auspices of Dr Ali bin Talib al Hinaei, Under-Secretary of the Health Ministry for Planning Affairs at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. During the ceremony, Dr Musallam al Oraimi, Head of Genetic Counselling and Education, at the NGC and the Programme Supervisor gave a speech during which he explained that this programme is the first academic programme at the GCC level that is designed to prepare a qualified personal in the field of Genetic Counselling with the degree of higher diploma. — ONA
