Govt Competencies Programme focuses on digital employee

MUSCAT: The fifth phase of the second edition of Government Competencies Programme carried out by the Ministry of Civil Service in collaboration with the Institute of Public Administration (IPA) and a private company, is focusing on the digital employee and the utilization of modern technologies to facilitate the provision of services.
A workshop on the most prominent government projects will be conducted at the premises of the National Bank of Oman
in Al Athaiba as part of the programme.
It will see several working papers dealing with, among others, the management and development of human resources and the roles and responsibilities of the government services call centre.
The Government Competencies Programme is one of the important administrative programmes that deal with human resources development being the top priority in the planning process.
It includes 42 participants from directorates-general and their equivalents in various units of the state administrative apparatus.
