GCC e-gov executive committee today

MUSCAT: The Sultanate, represented by the Information Technology Authority (ITA), will host on Wednesday at Al Bustan Palace Hotel a two-day 18th meeting of the Executive Committee of GCC e-Government. The committee discusses during the meeting the report of the Secretariat-General on what has been implemented of the decisions of the Committee at its 17th meeting and follow up the implementation of joint initiatives contained in the general framework of the guiding strategy for e-government. The Committee will discuss the Secretariat memorandum on subjects of Information Technology, in addition to the recommendations of the committees of National Centre Computer Emergency Response Team and the working team of the public key infrastructure, as well as reviewing the report of Saudi Arabia to hold the fifth session of the award and conference of the GCC e-government and the accompanying exhibition to be hosted by Saudi Arabia in the next year 2017. — ONA
