Four workers found dead in Oman port tragedy

Muscat: Four Asian expatriate workers were found dead following an incident that took place at Salalah Port, reported the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA).

"A team dealing with accidents of hazardous materials in at PACDA in the Dhofar governorate dealt with the report of the fall of four persons of Asian nationality at Salalah Port during the process of cleaning a ship (Lynch)," a statement said.

The PACDA team managed to pull the people out but they were found dead.
