MUSCAT: The Financial Affairs and Energy Resources Council (FAERC) on Thursday held its third meeting of 2017 at the Ministry of Finance’s building under the chairmanship of Darwish bin Ismaeel bin Ali al Balushi, Minister Responsible for Financial Affairs, and Deputy Chairman of FAERC. The council discussed several issues, including the financial allocations required to finance the training and rehabilitation plan for job-seekers, prepared by the National Training Fund, and the memorandum of gas supply pricing for Al Duqm Refinery Project and Petrochemicals Complex. The council reviewed the Sultanate’s credit rating reports, the results of Issue No 53 of the government development bonds, and the report on the final accounts and the performance of the Oman Investment Fund for the fiscal year 2016. — ONA
