MUSCAT: His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mohammed al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, returned home early Wednesday after leading the Sultanate’s delegation, on behalf of his Majesty Sultan Qaboos, in the 38th GCC Summit, which was held in the sisterly State of Kuwait. The Summit concluded its deliberation late yesterday. HH Sayyid Fahd sent cables of thanks to Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber al Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait and senior officials. In his cable, HH Sayyid Fahd expressed his honour and that of his accompanying delegation to chair the Sultanate’s delegation, on behalf of His Majesty the Sultan, in the 38th GCC Summit, which was held in the State of Kuwait. He expressed thanks and appreciation for the worm welcome and generous hospitality extended to him and his accompanying delegation. HH Sayyid Fahd was received upon his return by a number of ministers. — ONA
