The eight projects have been divided into five strategic programmes.
The Youth Development Programme, for instance, will see six projects, including the Youth Creativity Camps, which will be involved in the planning/ implementation of creative camps across governorates.
These camps provide talented young people with an environment to explore talent, creativity and develop their abilities and knowledge.

The Youth Participation Programme will see seven projects, including the Summer Camps project, that will enhance the role of youth in childcare, and Youth Preserving Environment Project for activating youth efforts in environmental sector and raising awareness on Oman’s hidden treasures.
The Traveller Project will qualify youth to manage and organise tourist and exploratory tours and provide them with information and knowledge on the touristic, archaeological, historical and environmental places in Oman.
This is in addition to the ‘Youth Portal’ project to serve as a platform for young people to communicate and exchange knowledge about their needs, interests, affairs, priorities and programmes. Other projects include Youth Forum, which will host youth from around the world to discuss youth issues; Youth Dialogue Project; Participate Project and Omani Youth Day Project.
The Youth Development Programme includes three projects, including the National Youth Committee Work Mechanism (2021-2025) and the third version of Tamkeen Project to activate partnership and cooperation between the committee and the official youth institutions. The third project deals with registration and capacity-building of youth and voluntary initiatives. The Citizenship Programme includes three projects: Yash’hadoon (‘They Witness’ in English), Keep Us Right, and Youth Dialogues. The Economy Empowerment Programme includes two projects: Students’ Training and Initiate Project for entrepreneurship and small and medium enterprises. Al Kharousi said the committee gives priority to young job-seekers by qualifying them through training projects; it has nominated two job-seekers for the UN Youth Correspondents Programme.
